Overall impression of San Miniato Golf
A small and very steep road brings us to the parking place of San Miniato Golf club. On one side the tennis court and restaurant, on the other side the entrance of the golf course. It’s a beautiful spot and we are overwhelmed. At the reception we get a warm welcome, even though they didn’t know we were coming. We are invited to play the same day, because the next day there is a tournament. The atmosphere is very good, you really feel the club feeling.
The course starts with a very steep hill to the first green, which has a great view over the whole course. On the right side you see an old villa, which could use some attention and could then be a great place to live. The course is small, but challenging because of the steep hills and the short holes. The surroundings are beautiful and the course is very well maintained in general, even though the greens could use some attention.
There is no fee for using the practising area and the driving range and, putting green and bunkers are in good condition and there is enough space to practise.

* The entry road is really steep and the sport complex is surrounded by one way streets.
