Molino del Pero Golf Club is a nice, small and very friendly golf club. They want you to think different about golf and from the moment you step on the field it feels like you’re meeting your best friends. We arrive on the 1st of May, a holiday for Italians and that makes it a busy day on the course. After meeting the director, who is enthusiastic to meet us, we go and have a look around the course. We see hills, interesting holes and are very curious how the course will be. When we start at 7.30 am the next morning, we enjoy the silence and the beautiful views of the earth waking up. The first hole is said to be the Stairway to Heaven. And indeed the fairway to the green is pretty steep. A good practise and warming up this early morning. The course is not extremely well maintained, there are a lot of things to improve (like signs, routings, locker rooms), but the overall feeling of this course is very positive. The views are beautiful again, the people very friendly and the course is good to play with a few water obstacles and a lot of trees that needs you to keep focused on your game. In the evening we have dinner at the restaurant (also called Molino del Pero), a beautiful and small place with a lot of home made dishes. A good place to refresh and relive your game!
